Our story
Brades was born from a shared vision between two passionate entrepreneurs determined to create a proposition that could meet the evolving needs of a business and its owners.
Our original founders, Andrew Holder and Royden Greaves, began their journey together long before the company’s official formation in December 2015. Their partnership was grounded in a common drive to create opportunities and transform lives, combining deep expertise in financial advisory with a passion for innovation and purposeful growth.
In 2024, the Executive Team was proud to announce that Humza Malik had agreed to join as Chairman, bringing his unparalleled experience in leading large-scale, multi-billion-pound investment projects. As a serial entrepreneur, the strategic addition strengthens the commitment to reshaping wealth management services for business owners.
The company mission has been inspired by the Caribbean island of Montserrat – a place with embedded meaning for the team. The name Brades pays homage to the island. After the eruptions of the Soufrière Hills volcano, Brades represents a vital nerve centre as the island’s de facto capital to this day. It’s a place symbolising growth, connection, and resilience—a fitting reflection of the values we hold today. Montserrat’s history of overcoming adversity and creating new pathways from the unknown resonates deeply with our own commitment to shaping brighter futures.
